I am so glad that you clicked onto this webpage.  So, what is going on in your life?  Maybe you are struggling with something right now and cannot seem to figure out what to do about it.  You thought it was something you could handle, but things have gotten out of control.  Maybe you fooled yourself into thinking you had control over a situation that you really could not help.  Sometimes it is very easy to feel that way.  We tend to believe that as we go through our routines in life, certain responsibilities are very important and we can get a false sense of how important we are,  which in turn may cause us to ask what went wrong at the job or at home, with our marriage or with our kids.

Well, let me tell you without a doubt that despite how you are feeling, you are important!  At least you are important to someone, Jesus.  Do you know that Jesus died for you despite how you may feel about him?  Can you imagine?  I believe he led you to this very webpage to tell you that.

He loves you just the way you are-right now.  And he wants to help.  Have you ever asked Jesus to help?  Maybe you did once before but you've gotten away from him and you know you need him back, or maybe you never asked him for help before.  Either way, we know that we need him, now.

So, what do we need to do?  First, ask yourself if you really want Jesus to help you beginning right now, not only with this particular problem, but also with the rest of your life.  If you're not sure, ask him to help you know what to do.  If you decide you want to know him personally and ask him to be your savior, let's look at a few scriptures and have a short prayer.

You may not think Jesus is necessary in order to get to heaven, but the Bible tells us in Romans 3 that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  Therefore we can't get to heaven just by being good.  There is already sin in us and as a matter of fact sin leads to death.  It says so in Romans 6:23:  "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Notice that since we have sinned, we deserve death, however the good news is that Jesus offers us the free gift of eternal life.  Do you know how?  Well, when they nailed him to that cross, it was the same as if he took out his own personal check and paid the full amount for your sin!  Now the only thing you have to do is believe that and ask him into your heart.  Why don't we do that right now?

Pray the following prayer:  Dear Lord, Thank you for sending Jesus to die at Calvary for my sins.  I believe in him today and I accept his death as payment for every sin I have committed.  Now please help me to turn from my old ways and live a new life, a righteous life, with God's help.  Jesus, please come into my heart and save me.  Please lead me and help me in this time of struggle and help me to remain faithful to you when you bring me through it.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Now, if you prayed that prayer, you can trust God that He has saved your soul.  What a wonderful thing.  I want to encourage you to read a few scriptures in the Bible to help you get started in your walk.  Read the book of Mark.  It's very brief and will give you a quick look at some of the things Jesus did.  Then move onto Matthew, Luke, and John.  Next, find a local church to attend.  Ask a friend you know and trust to help you, one that will suit your style.  If you live in our area, you are invited to our church or you may call the pastor at 704-279-3778.  He will try to help you by recommending one near you.

May God bless you.  Remember that the Bible tells us that Jesus said he was "The way, the truth, and the life," and that "No man comes to the Father but by me." He is the only way!
